Looking for some new Dog FLEA Shampoo?
Have you tried this one?
1 quart of water
3 Tablespoons of Liquid Castile Soap
1/3 cup of Glycerin
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup Aloe Vera Gel
1 drop of Citronella Essential oil For larger dogs you can add 2-3 drops.
Mix these together in a bowl until well incorporated, and pour into the clean bottle you will be using. Now you are ready to shampoo the dog, and no chemicals are involved.
Many dog shampoo recipes out there that use dish soap. You will still be using chemicals. Castile soap is made from coconut oil. It is a very gentle soap, and with the addition of the glycerin and Aloe Vera Gel, very good for the dogs coat and skin. The citronella essential oil (use only the therapeutic grade) will help by combating fleas.
The apple cider vinegar seems weird, too. But, the smell does go away after you bathe the dog,Product helps get all of the soap out of the coat, deodorizes, helps shine the coat, and lastly- helps combat those pesky darned fleas.
